CEVICAL-DORSAL EXERCISES
Inclination of neck against resistance
Gently tilt your head to the left and place the
palm of your right hand on the right side of your cranium (skull),
above the right ear.
From this starting position, try to straighten
your head and tilt it to the right, while your right arm exerts
pressure toward the left to prevent it. You must exert sufficient
pressure with your arms to allow the head to move but slowly and
against resistance. You must not allow your head to lean to the
left as much as possible. Hold the tension for about 5 seconds and
rest. Repeat the movement until the series is completed.
Once you have completed the series, do it on the
other side. Repeat the series to one side and the other until you
have performed 4 on each side.
